Someone to hold the bloody phone while you make a reel? \nOnce a month\, we’re opening up the Lumina studio for Content Club — a few hours to actually create some of the content you’ve been meaning to make\, with a bunch of other small business people there to help. \nUse Lumina as your backdrop. Bring your products\, your camera\, your tripod\, a change of clothes or whatever else you’ve been meaning to photograph. Grab someone to take a headshot. Make a reel. Photograph your work. Rope another creative into an idea. Or finally get that photo you’ve had saved in your inspiration folder for six months. \nAnd while we’re all in the room\, let’s use each other’s brains too. \nBring the Instagram post you’re not sure about\, the website you’ve been fiddling with\, the marketing idea you can’t quite make work or the thing you’re trying to sell that nobody seems to understand. Get some fresh eyes on it\, throw ideas around and see what comes out of the conversation. \nRunning a small business can be surprisingly lonely — especially when you’re expected to be the photographer\, copywriter\, marketing department\, social media person and creative director as well as doing the actual thing you’re in business to do. \nSo\, once a month\, don’t do all of that by yourself. \nCome use the studio. Make some stuff. Meet some people. Get some help. \nAnd for once\, get someone else (not your hubby!) to hold the bloody phone.
