DESCRIPTION:Age is a guide only. \nTween Studio is for older kids and tweens who are ready for a bit more focus and independence — and for grown-ups who are looking for something to do with their tween that isn’t rushed\, awkward\, or centred around a screen. \nThis one’s for the kids who want to make something that actually feels worth keeping — and the grown-ups who want an hour together that isn’t a battle over phones or a forced heart-to-heart. You’ll sit at the table side by side\, chat when it happens\, and make something with your hands while the conversation does its own thing. \nThe room is set up with four project stations\, and tweens can choose what they’re drawn to: \n\n\nPainting glass candle holders \n\n\nPressed flower pinch pots \n\n\nBargello earrings \n\n\nT-shirt yarn baskets \n\n\nThey can move between projects\, stick with one and really refine it\, or mix things up as they go. And if they’re not finished by the end (very normal)\, they’ll pack it into a take-home bag so they can keep going later — no stress\, no rushing. \nAll materials are provided\, and you can be as involved as your tween wants you to be: make alongside them\, sit close and chat\, or give them a little space while you share the table.

DESCRIPTION:Age is a guide only. \nKids Studio is a bright\, playful hour of creativity designed for curious little makers. \nEach session\, we set the table with four different making prompts. They change every week and offer a starting point — not a set of instructions. The activities are there as a guide\, but kids are free to take the materials in any direction they like. \nThere’s no “right” outcome and nothing to copy. Just space to explore\, experiment\, and see where an idea leads. \nExpect a generous mix of supplies to play with — paints\, air-dry clay\, foraged natural pieces\, pom poms\, googly eyes\, recycled materials\, wool\, fabric\, and plenty more — all ready for mixing\, matching\, and inventing something entirely their own. \nSome kids stick close to the prompts.Some ignore them completely.Both approaches are very welcome here. \nKids Studio is about imagination first\, gentle encouragement when it’s needed\, and that beautiful moment when confidence clicks and creativity takes over. \nKids can move between activities at their own pace — rush through all four\, spend the whole hour perfecting one\, or mix and match however inspiration strikes. There’s no structure\, no pressure\, just joyful making in a colourful\, welcoming space. \nAll materials are provided\, and grown-ups can craft alongside their child or simply soak up the happy energy from nearby with a cuppa in hand.
