bring a project or start something new

Craft & Cocktails is our relaxed evening of making, drinks, and good company for grown ups — a chance to get out of the house, make something with your hands, and spend a few easy hours being creative.
Soup & Stitch is the cosy daytime version, with soup, a savoury scone, and slow crafting around the table.

Both run from a menu of ready-to-go craft trays, so you simply choose a project when you arrive and settle in to make at your own pace. No pressure, no formal classes — just creative time carved out for yourself.

polymer clay earrings

Polymer Clay Earrings is one of those workshops where you sit down for “just a little play” and suddenly hours have disappeared.
We roll, shape, cut, texture, cook, and piece together colourful little wearable artworks — from bold abstract blobs to tiny florals, retro shapes, checkerboards, squiggles, and everything in between. There’s a huge table of colours, tools, cutters and finishing findings to experiment with, so every pair ends up completely different.
No experience needed at all — just come along, make something fun, and enjoy the process. It’s creative, social, slightly addictive, and very satisfying watching your earrings come together piece by piece.

botanical candle

In this session, you’ll make a botanical candle from start to finish — choosing your scent, pouring your candle, and decorating it with dried flowers and natural details. It’s a slow, hands-on workshop designed for thoughtful making, with plenty of room to experiment, personalise your design, and enjoy the process as your candle comes together. All materials are provided, with guidance available along the way — and you’ll head home with something beautiful, functional, and completely your own.

crepe flowers

Crepe Flowers is all about building blooms that last forever.

You might make a giant statement flower, a delicate poppy, a soft rose, or something completely in between — layering, shaping, and curling crepe paper into beautifully textured petals as your flowers come alive.

Some people leave with a single massive bloom, others create a small bouquet of forever flowers to take home. We’ll guide you through the techniques, but the fun is really in the experimenting, playing with colour and shape, and making something freely in your own style.

stitch & sip

Stitch & Sip is built around colour, texture, and making something by hand.

You’ll be given an embroidery hoop and fabric, along with fabric markers, beads, sequins, cottons, wool, and decorative threads to experiment with as you build your own stitched wall hanging to take home.

Some designs end up abstract, some floral, some a little weird and wonderful — that’s part of the fun.

cocktail & craft:

Tuesday and Friday nights, 6–8pm.
A cocktail on arrival $25

Craft & Cocktails is a slow, easy night out — the kind where you can show up exactly as you are, trackies very welcome.

From 6–8pm, you’ll choose from our menu of ready-to-go craft boxes, each one packed with everything you need to make something amazing. No set class, no pressure, no need to be “good” at anything — just pick what feels fun, grab your drink on arrival, and settle in.

Bring your own snacks or order in from around North Hobart, catch up with friends or quietly meet new ones, and enjoy doing something with your hands that you might not have made time for in a while.
