Little Makers is a colourful, joy-filled creative session where kids (and their grown-ups!) can explore a table overflowing with paints, clay, collage, textures and all sorts of crafty treasures. There are no step-by-step instructions or perfect end results—just plenty of inspiration, encouragement and the freedom to see where their imaginations take them.
More than anything, Lumina is about creating together. We love seeing grown-ups grab a seat, get their hands messy and make right alongside the kids. We genuinely believe creativity is more fun when it’s shared, and some of the best conversations and memories happen when parents and kids are making side by side.
This July, we’re turning Lumina into a real art gallery and showcasing their work in our very first Little Artists Art Exhibition.
The exhibition will be open from 25 July – 5 August, with a special Opening Night celebration on 25 July.
We’ll be rolling out the red carpet for our young artists, with grown-ups welcomed with a glass of sparkling on arrival, plus juice, lemonade and snacks for everyone to enjoy while exploring the exhibition.
Fairy Day at Lumina is pure magic — a little messy, very sparkly, and full of wonder.
We spend the session creating a collection of fairy-inspired treasures: recycled fairy dolls, handmade wands, tiny potion bottles, and a glowing mason jar fairy garden to take home.
There’s glitter, colour, imagination — and that feeling of stepping into another world for a little while.
In this workshop, kids will create their very own pompom animal — choosing wool colours, trying their hand at pompom making, adding personality, naming their new best friend, and finishing it off with a custom collar and official Lumina Adoption Certificate.
The colours at Lumina in the Dark aren’t just bright — they glow! Electric pinks, neon greens, fluorescent blues and glowing yellows light up under the UV lights, turning every brushstroke, splatter and scribble into something magical.
Kids can paint, create and experiment with colours that seem to leap off the page, while glow bracelets and glowing decorations add to the excitement. It’s messy, colourful, a little bit wild and packed with the sort of fun that’s impossible to have in ordinary daylight.

Little Makers Weekly is an hour of play, making and imagination. There are no set projects — just a table filled with quality craft materials designed for open-ended, creative play. It’s about sparking imagination, trusting their own instincts, and growing in confidence as they explore, create and bring their own ideas to life. When kids see the grown-ups beside them trying something new, making mistakes and enjoying the process, they’re reminded that creativity isn’t about getting it right—it’s about having a go.

Each session focuses on one theme — fairy gardens, pompom pets, crazy monsters! There’s a little more guidance to learn a new craft, but still plenty of room to make it their own. They’ll leave with something special to take home — made all by themselves, alongside someone they love.
You can hire the space as a blank canvas and bring your own party ideas to life, or jump into one of our themed or creative setups where kids can make, play, and get a little messy (in the best way). With the whole venue to yourselves, furniture and tableware already here, and no setup or clean-up to worry about, it’s a simple, joyful way to celebrate – without turning your house upside down.
