Stamp, stamping!

We’re turning ordinary tote bags into something completely their own.

Kids will start by making and playing with stamps — simple shapes, patterns, funny little pictures and whatever else they can dream up. Then we’ll get the paint out and experiment with printing, repeating, layering and mixing shapes before taking their favourite ideas onto their bag.

Cats? Sunshine? Spots? Stripes? Florals? A repeating pattern? Something completely abstract?

There’s no design they’re supposed to make.

We’ll show them how printing works, give them loads of shapes, colours and ideas to experiment with, then let their imagination take it from there.

And at the end, they get to sling their creation over their shoulder and take it home.
