Little Makers – Teddy Bear’s Picnic!
Our School Holiday sessions are a slightly slower, more immersive version of our Little Makers weekly creative hours.
These workshops still leave plenty of room for kid inspired creativity, but each one is built around a beautiful central idea — giving kids something to explore, interpret, and make their own.
We guide them through techniques and materials, but there’s always space for their personality to shine through.

Pack your teddy and join us for the sweetest school holiday adventure at Lumina.
At Teddy Bears’ Picnic, children aged 3–9 and their grown-ups will create a delightful spread of picnic treats for their favourite furry friend.
Using felt, air-dry clay, pompoms and a treasure trove of craft materials, we’ll be making cupcakes, sandwiches, biscuits, fruit, cakes and all sorts of imaginative picnic food. The focus is on creating, chatting, laughing and spending time together.
This is a workshop designed for grown-ups to join in too. Pull up a chair, get crafty alongside your little maker and help bring your teddy’s picnic to life.
Once our picnic food is complete, we’ll gather our teddies for a very special teddy bears’ picnic and admire the delicious creations we’ve made.
Don’t forget to bring your teddy bear along. Whether they’re brand new, a treasured favourite or looking a little worse for wear after years of adventures, they’ll be very welcome at Lumina.
